Open week has been a resounding success many thanks to everyone who put in to trojan work to make it a success ,the course was presented in excellent condition and the food was as usual top class ,a venture of this scale could not have achieved without our sponsors many thanks to each and everyone of you .
On Monday the Seniors had a 2 person team event ,
1st place was Brian Pilbeam and Seamus Foster with 50 points,
2nd place was Michael Burke and Seamus Burke with 50 points on ac/b
3rd place was Liam Duggan and Sean o Neill also with 50 points on ac/b.
On Tuesday there was a Ladies and Gents singles ,
The Gents was won by Jack Drew with 41 points
In 2nd place was Conor Martin with 40 points
The gross was won by Alan mc Donald with 32 points
In the Ladies section Betty Mc Grath came out on top with 36 points
In 2nd place was Bridget Holohan with a score of 35 points,
The gross was won by Breda Ryan with 25 points
On Wednesday the was an open men singles ,
In 1st place was Keith o Dwyer with a score of 43 points
In 2nd place was Niall o Sullivan with a score of 41 points
The gross was won by Jeffrey Lynch with a score of 32 points
In 3rd place was Jack Sharp with a score of 39 points.
On Friday an Open Champagne scramble was held
In 1st place with a score of 55 points was Mary O’Connell ,James o Connell and Betty Mc Grath,
In 2nd place with a score of 52 points was Enda Fogarty ,Francis Cleere and Liam Cody,
In 3rd place with a score of 52 points was Nicholas Walsh, Shane O Neill and Gérard Wall on a c/b.
On Saturday a 3 person team event was held ,
In 1st place with a score of 90 points was Blade o Gorman ,Kevin o Gorman and Jade o Gorman
In 2nd place with a score of 87 points was Eddie Cunningham, Paddy Dora and Joe Tierney
In 3rd place with a score of 86 was Shane Webster ,Joe Colclough and Patrick o Keefe.
On Sunday a 4 person team event was held,
In 1st place with a score of 95 points was Damien Know, Eddie Culleton, David Morris and James Hayden ,
In 2nd place with a score of 94 points was Jimmy Hilman Jim Kirby John Healy and John Grace ,
In 3rd place with a score of 93 points was Johnny Kennedy, Roland Komer ,Paddy Donovan and Ritchie Condon.
Lotto results with a jackpot of 3450 euro the numbers drawn were 9 18 30 and there was no winner so 30 euro each goes to Eddie Kelly ,John Lennon and Rose Brophy.The sellers were Murt Cuddihy ,Joe Cuddihy and the Emerald Bar next week the jackpot is 3550 euro.
