Competitions Finishing and Starting
One lucky golfer, of the fifty still standing after the winter league qualifiers finished on St Patricks day, will be the proud owner of a new set of golf clubs on Saturday evening next the 24th of March. A new set of irons awaits the winner and after a long four months of qualifying the prize will be well deserved. All qualifers will be contacted by Callan Golf club and the names will also appear on the website. There is also an array of other prizes for the lucky winners. Best of luck to the top fifty in the playoff final.
While the Winter League is in its final throes the Open Singles Series gets underway on Wednesday 21st of March and will run every Wednesday until Autumn. The Series is a huge source of interest and revenue for the club which enjoys brilliant support from members and visitors alike. The course is in beautiful condition for so early in the season and all are looking forward to all comers who can enjoy the course and catering facilities throughout the coming months. The hugely popular early bird option for non members (10e before 12 noon for a fourball) applies.
